CHOCOLATE  PASTE  ROSES

On Friday, March 28th, my mother-in-law

celebrated her 65th birthday. I decided to make 

a chocolate paste recipe that I'd seen on Pinterest.

Below are my roses and leaves that I'd made from 

my heart shaped cookie cutter.

I traced my cake pans onto a large sheet of sketching paper so that I could practice making my arrangement.

I used a small brush and painted the words onto the 

cut-outs using a blue food colouring.

I made an extra little cake just in case!

It took quite awhile for me to complete this painting. I didn't like it for the longest time, there was something missing. Then I decided to put an eagle into the composition and this provided the motivation needed to complete my latest work. I will have this piece for display and sale at Eagle Ranch Resort on Saturday, March 29th, 2014 for the WAM! event.  WINE, MUSIC & ART!
