This spring I spent many hours in the 

evenings photographing the cherry 

blossoms in my backyard. 

These are some of my favorite 

photos because the blossoms in

the foreground are crisp and clear while

 the background remains out of focus.

A Morning Stroll

This is the second wood burning I have completed for 

the Headwater's Art Society's show at Pynelogs on 

May 14th - 27th, 2013. The reception is from 

7:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday the 17th.

The Grizzly is an adolescent that I photographed on 

my trip through Kamloops in April.

Leonardo da Vinci 

was an Italian painter and a genius in many realms of science. 

He is best known for two paintings: the "Mona Lisa" and "The Last Supper." 

The famous artist died in Amboise, France, on May 2, 1519. 

I thought I would share a couple of his quotes about art.
