Come along for the adventure!

     Today I am happy to announce that my friend, and founding member of the Headwater's Art Society, Paula Cravens, will be presenting an acrylic, abstract workshop in April, 2017.  I am very excited to share the information with you. Paula will be sharing tips and techniques on composition, colour, gelli prints, stamps, and focal points. She will give demonstrations and a power point presentation. There will be ample time for painting and experimenting with watercolour papers and canvas. The weekend will kick off with a wine and cheese reception on Friday night, April 28th. to everyone who has supported me over
the past year as I have prepared for my 
show at Pynelogs Cultural Center in 
Invermere, B.C. I enjoyed the opportunity 
to talk with friends and family last night,
and to meet the other artists and patrons
during the evening. My dear friend Violet
came out from Calgary just to attend my 
opening reception. I hope you will stop by
the gallery and peruse the artworks 
displayed there in this, the last show of the
season. The exhibit remains open until
Sunday the 29th of September, 2013.

I really enjoy painting flowers
and these bright orange poppies
are a great contrast against the
green and brown of the flower
bed behind them.

A Morning Stroll

8 x 10 Wood Burning

This is the second wood burning I have completed for 

the Headwater's Art Society's show at Pynelogs on 

May 14th - 27th, 2013. The reception is from 

7:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday the 17th.

The Grizzly is an adolescent that I photographed on 

my trip through Kamloops in April.
