"THE ROAD NOT TAKEN"

12" x 24" Acrylic on Canvas

I finished this autumn scene of poplar trees just in time to display it at the Headwaters Art Show at Pynelogs in Invermere last week.
The title is from the Robert Frost poem by the same name.
The reception was a lot of fun and many artists and patrons
were in attendance. You still have time to see our exhibit!
The show runs until Saturday, June 7th, 2014.

"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as long as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth"

40th Wedding Anniversary
RUBY RED

This Saturday, October 27th, I threw my parents a surprise party for their 40th Wedding Anniversary. My mother's wedding bouquet was yellow roses. Being that the ruby is symbolic for 40 years I bought red and yellow roses which my Aunt used to decorate their cake with. My Aunt brought these  mini yellow roses and used a  RUBY RED GRAPEFRUIT  as the vase! How unique is that! We had a lot of fun!

Busy Bee!
The third in my series of three paintings of bees on gaillardia flowers.
I just got these prints last week and I am now stretching them.
