Ladybug, ladybug,
fly away home....
Here a couple of tiles that I painted for my sister.
She is moving into a brand new house and asked for
some tiles to place in her new kitchen. Her granite counter top
has a lot of brown and white with a hint of red.

"FROST"
4" x 4" Acrylic on Ceramic Tile

My husband built our house nearly 8 years ago. We still have many 4" x 4"
tiles that we never used in our kitchen. I thought I would try applying gesso
and then painting a little scene on one. I found this leaf in my yard that was
frozen on the top of some ice and touched with frost at the edges. It was fun
to do something so small and relatively quick for a painting.
